How often is this operator list updated?
Whenever we independently verify a change in an operator's live status against AGLC's registrant records and AiGC's approved sites directory. Last checked 18 July 2026.
Why does this list only show 17 operators?
This list only includes operators Jolly First has directly confirmed as live and approved. Many more operators have registered with AGLC but had not confirmed a live launch as of our most recent check; we do not list operators as available until we can verify it.
Is PlayAlberta different from the private operators on this list?
Yes. PlayAlberta is the existing government-run platform. All other operators are newly licensed private operators entering the Alberta market.
Does being registered guarantee an operator launches on July 13?
No. Registration with AGLC is the first step. Operators must also complete a commercial agreement with the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) before going live.
