Alberta iGaming: everything in one place

Alberta's regulated private market opens July 13, 2026. Below: launch guides, every operator review, and the comparisons that pull it all together.

Launch guide series

Start here if you're new to what's changing on July 13.

Alberta becomes the fourth Canadian jurisdiction to regulate online gambling, following Ontario's 2022 launch. The province runs a two-body model: the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) handles licensing and enforcement, while the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) manages the commercial side, including the province's centralised self-exclusion programme. Every operator listed below has cleared AGLC's registration requirements before appearing on this site.

Comparisons & pillar guide

Where the individual reviews come together.

These pages answer a narrower question than a single review can: not just whether an operator is compliant, but how it compares to the others on the specific factor that matters most for a given decision, whether that's payout speed, welcome offer structure, or sportsbook depth.

Responsible gambling

Gambling involves risk. If gambling is no longer fun, contact the Alberta Health Services Addiction Helpline at 1-866-332-2322.
